In friendly football match between GMC-11 versus Audit-11 on 18th June 22 at Bambolim Athletic Stadium, GMC 11 was victorious with 5 goals to nil. GMC team was captained by DEAN Prof Dr Shivanand M Bandekar. Audit 11 was captained by Mr Vikram senior Auditor. Best player award was presented to DEAN for his class Goal scored.
On 10th June 22 Goa Medical College celebrated it’s Annual day with prize distribution ceremony. On the occasion chief guest Hon’ble Minister for health addressed the students and shared his thoughts on various aspects. Guest of honor shri Harilal Menon Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Goa University also guided the students on various academic aspects. Dean Prof Dr Shivanand M Bandekar presented Annual report with achievements . It was indeed proud previledge for Dean to announce starting of MCh and DM courses from this academic year 2022-23 and also post graduate courses in OT AND PT. Amongst several achievements Dean also announced starting of superspeciality hospital for people of Goa.
